HOW’D I GET HERE? (The Quick Version)
☉ Immigrated to Canada in 2003 with my family.
- From a young age, I learned the value of hard work, starting small businesses like delivering newspapers, mowing lawns, and tutoring.
☉ I was always trying to build something:
- Started my hifdh journey at the age of 9 but despite my efforts, I struggled with procrastination, lack of focus, and the feeling that I was falling short of my true potential.
☉ I never quit on my hifdh journey:
- Studied as much as I good about human psychology, habits, discipline - anything to fix my procrastination.
- Took time off after university when I realized it was ‘now or never’ and locked in. I finally started to put into action my knowledge.
- Finished my first layer of hifdh after 15 years
☉ Time to work full-time:
- I took on real estate and it seemed like the ultimate dream—flexible, lucrative, and rewarding.
- Alhamdulillah I even won an award in my first year at my company…

☉ But in reality it was exhausting.
- I was losing my connection with the Quran
- I was constantly chasing leads, dealing with unreliable developers, and feeling like just another agent in a crowded industry.
^ This is what I call The Commodity Trap— where you’re just one of many, competing on effort instead of true value.
☉ The Personal Brand:
- I started an Instagram page sharing content about islam, the mind, and business - topics I was passionate about.
- This changed everything.
☉ My authentic journey resonated with people who wanted to join my community and buy my products.
- This work aligned perfectly with both my deen & dunya goals.
☉ By building a personal brand around my unique perspective,
- I transformed from feeling replaceable to being in demand - all while focusing on pleasing Allah swt & serving the ummah.
